Life Decisions' First Community Block Party

On Saturday, August 14th, Life Decisions held our first Community Block Party at Dahlquist Park. Twenty-two different nonprofits joined us to showcase their services for families and kids. Over 100 volunteers helped everyone enjoy free fun, games, food, and prizes.

Thank you to our sponsors: In Youth We Trust, Mainstreet Financial, Meijer, Crosspoint Church, Birdzeye Media, Integrity Cleaning, Park City Church, Laborers’ Local 32, Subway, Northern Illinois Sewer Service, Lindsay Letters Co, Beth Christensen, and more.

Over 300 people came out and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon as a community.

Life Decisions is a new nonprofit organization that is committed to helping youth stay out of trouble, get back on track, and reach their God-given potential. We are building a Tribe of Mentors that will grow into a community of life-on-life relationships - together - bringing restoration to Rockford.

At our Community Block Party, we were pleased to bring a diverse and multigenerational gathering together. This event was inspired by, and lead by, Life Decisions youth. Their goal was to celebrate the launch of Life Decisions by bringing the community together for a day of fun. Thank you to all who helped, and to all who attended.
